Most POTS patients began with an anxiety diagnosis.

To even get the POTS label was a win. Someone finally believed you. But months became years. Tests came back normal. The advice stayed the same — more fluids, pace yourself, recumbent biking, try this medication. Some of it helped. None of it answered the real question: why is this happening?

Symptom management is not an answer. It is a holding pattern.

We built the POTS Roadmap to change that. It walks you through the process, step by step, to finally find what is causing your POTS.

“Why is it that two people can get the same virus and one gets POTS, and the other doesn’t?”

The roadmap helps you find where your body became vulnerable.

Six steps. One clear path.

Each step asks a question your care team should be evaluating. Work through them in order and find exactly where things went wrong.

  • 1
Is your metabolism working? You will be able to identify whether something simple, and completely fixable, has been quietly making every symptom worse. Most people never check this layer. Some find their answer right here.
  • 2
Is your immune system still fighting? You will be able to ask the question most providers skip: is my immune system responding to something real, or is it stuck in a loop? That distinction changes everything about what comes next.
  • 3
Do your organs work? You will know exactly which tests should have already been ordered, and be able to rule out the scary stuff with confidence. You will walk into your next appointment knowing what to ask for.
  • 4
Look at your whole life timeline. You will see your own history differently. Injuries, illnesses, medications laid out in order. Patterns emerge you never connected. You will understand how your body became vulnerable, and when it started.
  • 5
Find the one thing driving everything else. You will be able to distinguish what is actually causing your symptoms from what is a side effect, and from what your body is doing to compensate. Any doctor you explain this to will hear it differently.
  • 6
Now we talk about treatment. You will be able to evaluate any recommendation given to you and understand whether it targets the actual problem or just manages a symptom. You will know what to test, what to try, and in what order.
